About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented TM1 Planning Analytics Analyst to support, administer, and enhance our retail planning and reporting environment.
In this role, you’ll help ensure our sales, margin, inventory, and operational planning models run smoothly and provide the insights our teams rely on to make fast, data-driven decisions. This role is ideal for someone with a technical foundation in Planning Analytics who enjoys helping users, maintaining stable systems, and contributing to ongoing improvements.
Key Responsibilities - Initially
Provide day-to-day user and system support for our retail TM1 / Planning Analytics applications.
Manage system administration tasks, including user access, security, backups, and scheduled processes.
Monitor performance and data loads, ensuring accuracy and reliability across our models.
Maintaining application-related processes and system documentation.
Ensuring data integrity and timely completion of Planning & Analytics system tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with TM1 data, processes, and rules.
Assist with model enhancements and basic development.
Key Responsibilities - Growth Path
Translating business needs into technical solutions, from gathering requirements to contributing to design and developing robust processes and reporting layers.
Optimizing performance of large applications and managing developments to ensure successful outcomes for data integrity and availability.
Participating in system upgrades and the expansion of current functionalities.
Assisting end-users in understanding and interpreting critical business information.
Coordinate with business users to understand issues, requirements, and enhancement requests.
Support system upgrades, testing, and documentation of configuration and processes.
Skills and Experience
Understanding of Server installation & configuration, Dimension Build, Complex Rules, TurboIntegrator, TM1py and Security would be looked upon favourably
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience in system administration, including user management, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
Familiarity with SQL, Python, Excel, and data integration tools preferred.
Understanding of End User templates in PAW & PAX, with transferable knowledge from Active Forms and TM1 Web.
Exposure to retail planning, forecasting, or financial reporting highly regarded.
Excellent communication and stakeholder support skills.
Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot, and operate independently. Strong focus on performance management and improvement.
An understanding of strong business support and customer focus.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving software and application issues.
Ability to operate independently and be self-motivated within a collaborative team environment.
